CMS Update!!!

CMS has finally released their updates for the 2009 Medicare Season. The updates will include the 2009 Marketing Requirements and a Guidance for Regulations in CMS. The guidance for regulations pdf will explain some of the changes CMS has implemented for the 2009 Medicare Season. Senior Product News CMS Issues Final Commission Guidelines
 As you may know, CMS announced the final commission guidelines to Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan carriers for 2009 on Monday, November 10.  While actual commission levels have yet to be determined, CMS provided a formula by which "fair market value" could be determined for compensation amounts in 2009 and beyond.  We likely won't know final commission amounts until early next week, but be assured that we will be passing that information along as available.
